Track Character Auction History Like Never Before

Ever wonder if that character has been auctioned before? Our new returning auction indicator shows you the complete history of any character, helping you make smarter investment decisions.

Never Buy Blind Again

Ever wonder if that character has been auctioned before? Has it failed to sell multiple times? Did it sell for much less last month?
These questions can make or break your investment decisions. That's why we're excited to introduce our Returning Auction Indicator - a powerful feature that reveals the complete auction history of any character.

What is the Returning Auction Indicator?

The Returning Auction Indicator is a small amber badge that appears on any character that has been auctioned before. It shows you exactly how many times this character has appeared in auctions, giving you crucial insights into its market history.
Returning Auction Indicator

How It Works

When you browse the auction list, you'll immediately see which characters are returning:
  • New Characters: No badge - this is their first auction
  • Returning Characters: Amber badge with rotate icon showing previous auction count
Click the badge to reveal a complete history of all previous auctions for that character, including:
  • Auction dates and end times
  • Final bid amounts in Tibia Coins
  • Sale status (Sold, Unsold, or Canceled)
  • Direct links to previous auction pages

Why This Matters for Your Investment

1. Spot Problem Characters

Some characters get auctioned repeatedly because they have hidden issues. Maybe they're overpriced, have bad reputations, or simply don't appeal to buyers. The returning indicator helps you spot these red flags instantly.

2. Find Hidden Gems

A character that failed to sell last month might be a bargain today if the seller lowered their expectations. You can spot these opportunities and negotiate better deals.

3. Track Price Trends

See how the character's price has changed over time. Did it sell for 500 TC last month but now the bid is at 1,200 TC? That's valuable information for your bidding strategy.

4. Understand Market Demand

Characters that sell quickly and return often might be flippers - people buying and selling for profit. This can indicate a healthy market for that character type.

Real Examples

The Overpriced Character

You see a level 350 Elite Knight with a starting bid of 2,000 TC. The returning indicator shows it's been auctioned 3 times before:
  • Auction 1: Unsold (starting bid 2,500 TC)
  • Auction 2: Unsold (starting bid 2,200 TC)
  • Auction 3: Unsold (starting bid 2,000 TC)
Result: You know this character is overpriced and can wait for the seller to lower expectations or negotiate a better deal.

The Hidden Opportunity

A level 280 Sorcerer appears with a starting bid of 800 TC. The returning indicator shows one previous auction:
  • Auction 1: Canceled after 2 days (starting bid 1,200 TC)
Result: The seller is getting desperate. This might be your chance to grab a good character below market value.

The Hot Commodity

A level 400 Druid with good equipment has a returning indicator showing 5 previous auctions, all "Sold" with increasing prices:
  • 3 months ago: 1,800 TC
  • 2 months ago: 2,100 TC
  • 1 month ago: 2,400 TC
  • Current bid: 2,200 TC (still active)
Result: This character type is in high demand and prices are rising. If you want it, you need to act fast before prices go higher.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Look for the Badge: Scan the auction list for amber badges with rotate icons
  2. Click to Explore: Click any returning badge to see the complete history
  3. Analyze the Pattern: Look for trends in pricing, sale status, and frequency
  4. Make Smart Decisions: Use this data to inform your bidding strategy

Technical Details

The feature tracks auction history from the past 30 days and shows up to 10 previous auctions. Data is fetched in real-time when you click the indicator, ensuring you always see the most current information.
For characters with extensive histories, you can click "View full history" to see all past auctions in our advanced bazaar interface with powerful filtering and sorting options.

Level Up Your Auction Strategy

The Returning Auction Indicator transforms how you approach character trading. Instead of bidding blind, you now have complete market intelligence at your fingertips.
Whether you're looking for bargains, avoiding problem characters, or tracking market trends, this feature gives you the competitive edge you need.
